We call a function $f:\mathbb{N}\to \mathbb{R}$ a sequence of real numbers. We denote this with $\{a_n{\}}_{n\in \mathbb{N}}$.

Example

$a_1=1$, $a_2=3$, $a_3=5$, $a_4=7$, etc.

We can denote this with:

• $a_n=2n-1$
• $\{2n-1{\}}_{n\in \mathbb{N}}$

Sequences can be increasing or decreasing, and they can also have a limit.
